- modernization of labor legislation in order to meet the challenges of the 21st century
- community framework for the measures for harmonization of family life and education period of young women in the EU;

2/ European Parliament Seminar on the image of Muslim women in the media.

Questions to the European Commission

1/ Question on the legal grounds for spelling „euro” in Bulgarian language, asked on the Multilingualism Day. Response received.

2/ Oral questions to EC experts regarding the application of the European Directive on Fisheries and Aquaculture in Bulgaria.

Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE)

1/ European parliament Seminar ‘New Leaders, New Policy’, conducted jointly with the ALDE Chairman, Mr. Graham Watson;

2/ Publishing a book containing the ‘New Leaders, New Policy’ seminar lectures;

3/ Publishing three types of ‘A, B, C of European Union’ brochures: on the EU institutions and their powers; on the rights of European citizens; on the policy of the liberals in the European Parliament.

2007 – Year of the Equal Opportunities

1/ Conducting 29 entrepreneurship seminars in Silistra municipality, in Sofia, Stara Zagora, Blagoevgrad, Dobrich. Among the goals is to attract more women and to encourage their initiatives;

2/ Organizing visits of young people to the European Parliament;

3/ Conducting meetings with disabled people at the European Parliament;

4/ Publishing a booklet within the multiple sclerosis information campaign, starting in February 2008;

5/ Setting up a MEP web-page.
