A Chance for Everyone Project Starts |
On November 17, 2007, the ‘Chance for Everyone’ will start, under which four seminars on entrepreneurship will be carried out. The first seminar will take place in Sofia, and the next ones – in Blagoevgrad, Smolyan and Dobrich.
The project was designed by the Bulgarian MEP Filiz Hyusmenova and is being implemented with the support of the Political Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe at the European Parliament, whose member she is. The Liberals are working towards encouraging the small businesses through concrete strategies for facilitating their access to funding and development of entrepreneurship networks. The project is a follow-up to the pilot project ‘A Chance for Everyone,’ implemented in 25 settlements within Silistra region. “We achieved the goal of the project. The participants received information that they would have hardly obtained on their own. We managed to also motivate them through supporting their personal ideas with advice and experience. We provoked a broader participation by women. They keep approaching the experts even after the end of the project.” – this is the comment made by Filiz Hyusmenova on the need of conducting more entrepreneurship training seminars in the country. The new seminars will train young people from the MRF how to register a company, what are the taxation and insurance procedures in our country, how can they get a credit for starting a business, what is the state policy for encouraging entrepreneurship, and what opportunities exist for applying under EU agricultural programs.
