Filiz Hyusmenova Made a Donation to the School of Tsar Samuil Village, Tutrakan Municipality |

A TV set, footballs and stationery received the school in Tsar Samuil village, Tutrakan Municipality. The items were donated by the MEP Filiz Hyusmenova from Silistra. The eight-grade students received books European Diary, and the teachers were handed Eurocalendars.
The present were handed out by an associate of Filiz Hyusmenova, who commended on her behalf the teachers on their professionalism and dedication.
The Eurocalendar publication was designed at the suggestion of the MEP Hyusmenova. The book features an interview with her, in which Ms. Hyusmenova tells about the European Parliament, the political group whose member she is – the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, about their priorities, as well as about their campaigns on patients’ rights, climate changes and traffic of people. Filiz Hyusmenova has devoted several pages to inform the citizens with her most-significant achievments as a member of the European Parliament and in Bulgaria.
The mayor of Tsar Samuil, Mehmed Yumer, and the teachers took the occasion to bring to the attention of the MEP their problems regarding the school facilities and to share their concerns about the future of both the school and the village. As a sign of appreciation they gave to Ms. Hyusmenova a CD with their messages for her, prepared especially for the occasion.
