|
On December 1, 2007, at 10 a.m. an Entrepreneurship Training Seminar will start in Stara Zagora. It is part of the second stage of the project “A Chance for Everyone,” which comprises a total of four seminars aimed at training young people. The project started as a pilot initiative in Silistra region, where twenty five trainings were organized. The tangible benefit for the participants lead to expanding the project to other regions in the country.
The project was designed by the Bulgarian MEP Filiz Hyusmenova, who is the Vice Chairwoman of the European Parliament Committee on Regional Development. Through this initiative she supports the capacity building for further development of Bulgarian regions. The project is supported by the Political Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe at the European Parliament. In addition to teaching the young people how to register a company and obtain a credit for a start-up business, the new seminars will also provide updated information about the opportunities for applying under European Union agricultural programs, including the field of fisheries and aquacultures. The training will be conducted by experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Supply and from the state fund “Agriculture.” The next seminars under this project will be carried out in Blagoevgrad and Dobrich.
